Item Forge Wiki
Custom item editing, profile automation, smart scaling, batch workflows, and admin-friendly generation docs for Item Forge.
Getting Started
Start here for install, first boot, and the three main editing lanes.
Naming and Templates
Get display name, item name, lore, placeholders, and prefix behavior right before you mass-generate items.
Profiles and Automation
Build reusable modifier workflows, scale item math, and generate outputs from the Give menu.
Item Editing Systems
Trim, dye, attribute, hide, model, and tag items without dropping into raw NBT tooling.
Operations and Support
Teach admins the command surface, the built-in help surfaces, and the troubleshooting path for common item issues.
Item Forge has a dedicated armor surface because trims, dye color, and item presentation are a real part of the admin workflow, not just cosmetic extras.
Armor trims
The trim system is for:
- choosing a trim pattern
- choosing a trim material
- previewing the result while editing
The trim menus are meant to be visual enough that admins can see what they are doing before they finalize the item.
Leather Color Studio
Leather coloring is not limited to a tiny preset list.
Item Forge's leather studio supports:
- RGB channel adjustment
- exact value input
- hex color input
- quick presets
- random exploration
Where leather color applies
Leather color works in:
- single-item editing
- batch editing
- profile templates
Hidden trim and hidden upgrade presentation
If the item should stay visually cleaner in the tooltip, Item Forge can hide armor trim and other upgrade-style lines through the presentation and flag controls.
That lets you keep the look in-game without forcing all technical detail into the hover text.
